Low Muscle Tone (Hypotonia)
Play-based therapy that helps children develop strength, endurance, and confidence in every movement.
What It Is
Low muscle tone means a child’s muscles feel softer or less firm at rest. Babies may seem “floppy,” tire easily, or have trouble with posture and coordination. Tone affects how movement feels—but strength, control, and endurance can be improved through purposeful, playful therapy.
How Therapy Helps
Therapy builds muscle activation, postural stability, and balance through fun, developmentally appropriate movement. Over time, rolling, sitting, climbing, and running become smoother and more coordinated.
Our Approach at Motor Skills Matter
We turn worry into progress—helping families understand how to support movement, build stability, and celebrate every small but meaningful gain.
